Of Jackson, MI passed away on February 13, 2021 at the age of 55. Joann was born in Chicago, IL to parents Robert Lee Davis and Mattie Mae Acoff. She relocated to Michigan with her family 20+ years ago. She worked as a secretary for a manufacturing business. Joann was a member of the APA Pool League for 18 years, loved reading and family time. She was someone you could always count on to make you laugh. Joann leaves to cherish her memory her daughter Latila Lowery; and siblings Earlene Thompkins, Robert Davis, Jr., Lorraine (Kelvin) Davis-Lyles, Angela Davis and Clint Davis; and a host of nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents Robert Lee Davis and Mattie Mae Acoff; and siblings Helen Heidelberg, Susan Riley, Valerie Davis, and Stanley Davis. Family will receive friends on Sunday, February 21, 2021 from 12:00 pm until 4:00 pm at Patience Montgomery Funeral Home, 406 First Street, Jackson, MI. Per her wishes, cremation will take place. In accordance with CDC and State of Michigan requirements, masks and social distancing will be required.
