Of Jackson, went home to be with the love of his life, Elaine, on October 17, 2013 age 85. He was loved dearly and is survived by one sister Juanita “Josephine” Fagan, many many family members, including several nieces and nephews, numerous special friends of all ages including Mike and Patty, special “granddaughter” Karrie Howard. Preceded in death by his wife of 56 years Doris “Elaine” Hands, five brothers, George Sprague, Martin Hands, Jim, Burt and Donald Smith, two sisters Dorothy Bigcraft and Stella Krieger. He retired from Coca-Cola with 32 years of service. A celebration of his life will be held at the funeral home Monday October 21, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Byron Maynard officiating. Burial Maxon Cemetery. Visitation Sunday 2-5 P.M. and Monday 1:00 P.M. until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Allegiance Hospice.
