

Linda Louise Wyers of Jackson, MI passed away at home under the care of her family and Henry Ford Hospice of Jackson at the age of 78. She was born to Charles and Betty (Biehler) Cromley on March 10, 1947 in Jackson, MI. Linda is survived by her son, Jeff (Sheila) Wyers; daughters, Traci (Mike) Wyers and Kelly Wyers; grandchildren, Meagan (Brandon) Hinton, Melissa Baker, Blaine Stowe, Dewy (Victoria) Stowe, Sean Wyers, Gracie Kerr (Ben), Tristen Allen and Nick Allen; great grandchildren, Cayden Wright, Brantley Gibson, Maci Baker, and Dannie Hinton; brother, Mickey (Janet) Cromley; nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents Linda was preceded in death by her husband Michael Wyers; grandson; TJ Stowe; sister; Patti Meador and brother in law; Ron Meador.
Linda Louise Wyers was a devoted mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, and friend. Family was Linda’s heart and she treasured every moment with them. She could be found in the stands, on the sidelines, or in the front row cheering on her children and her grandchildren. Linda was the owner and office manager of Wyers Plumbing for 47 years. She taught her children the value of hard work and to take pride in what you do. She had a lifelong love of animals, rescuing stray cats and giving them good homes. Even caring for the smallest of creatures like frogs and turtles. Each year she looked forward to the return of her swans, a simple tradition that delighted her. Linda also cherished the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing in her younger years. She really enjoyed bowling with her family and was a youth coach for several years. In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to Cascade Humane Society.
Visitation will be held at Burden-Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home, located at 1806 East Michigan Avenue, Jackson, MI 49202, on January 19, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
An additional visitation will take place at the same location on January 20, 2026, from 9:00 am to 10:00 am, followed by a Celebration of Life at 10:00 am.
