Dear Myers family, 
I am the neice of Lois' neighbor of many years, Florence Donnelly. Lois watched me grow up, and was always eager to hear how I was doing as I grew. We had many chats over the fence when I was a little girl. She always made beautiful crafts, and I have many of them to remember her by. She was a lovely lady with a very giving heart. She will be sadly missed and fondly remembered always. My prayers go out to the family.

I will greatly miss a very special pen-friend--never having met her in person I nevertheless felt as though we were dear friends.  Her letters were interesting and fun--I shared them with my husband and 90-year-old mother.  All of us will miss hearing from her.  Her fridge magnets continue to decorate my refrigerator and each time I look at them I think of a neat person.  I'll be forever grateful to Tony Cz for sharing her with us!

Lois was a wonderful lady who was such a good friend and neighbor of Florence Donnelly (Auntie as we called her). My sympathy goes out to her family.

A lovely lady who made me feel at home while I was living in Jackson. We used to talk over the fence just as she used to do it with her dear friend Florence Donelly. Later on, it was a pleasure to visit her everytime I was back in Michigan. Last time I was there she made beautiful napkin holders for my mother and myself. She's always going to be part of my favorite memories of Michigan. I never met any member of her family but I am sending a warm embrace to all of you from Mexico City.

It was an honor to be a pen-pal with Lois exchanging letters with her.  I signed my letters "California" and Lois signed hers "Michigander."  I will miss hearing about the activities on the ball fields across the street from her home, and reading the articles she sent from the Cit. Pat. And I will never read a Hollywood story in the LA Times that I will not think...I have to cut this story out for Lois in Jackson.

Sorry John and Family. LOIS was such a kind person, She never forgot birthdays, always got a card. There's  not many of us left, on the Myers side,so sad we didn't see each other more. Love your cousin Carol-Jonas-Hawkins.
