Of Jackson, Michigan passed away on August 16, 2017 at the age of 92. She was born on August 13, 1925 in Liberty Twp., Ohio to Byron and Gladys Stump. Marcella married John R. Williams on June 10, 1946 in Angola, Indiana. She worked for Hancock ITT as a factory worker for many years. She loved to attend Hancock birthday luncheons once a month, was an avid reader who read everything she could, played euchre, did crossword puzzles, and was an avid fan of the Detroit Tigers. Marcella is survived by her children, Ann (Mike) Draper, Bob (Marlene) Williams, Sue (Randy) Schreiber, and Janet (Brad) Belding; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John R.; siblings, Glendora, Doyt, and Ellen. A celebration of Marcella’s life was held on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 1:00pm at Roseland Memorial Gardens Chapel (3744 Brooklyn Road Jackson, MI 49203-4897). She will be laid to rest next to her husband. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to: Jackson District Library (Meijer Branch).
