

Melinda lived a full, joyful, and impactful life despite all obstacles in her path. She was a passionate Cancer Cure Advocate and Educator/Advocate of the rare disease, Neurofibromatosis. She loved her children, husband, and pets with all of her being. She loved to bake, cook, spend time with family, camp, and garden. Her favorite place was being barefoot at the beach. She was also a lover of arts and crafts, and homeschooled her youngest son for nearly two years.
Her memory will live on through her beloved husband of 12 years, Kyle Ewer; sons, Kyle Ewer Jr. and Noah James Ewer; parents, Diane and Tim Mohney Sr.; siblings, Tim (Dedra) Mohney Jr., Kevin (Jennifer) Filip; grandparents Keith Mohney, Rosie (David) Clark; nieces and nephews, Tim III, Dalia, Elijah, and Ezra. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Russel (Barbara) Boone; uncles, Russell Boone and Rex Boone; and aunt, Becky Messier; her beloved cat, Pinky; and dog, Lasey.
A visitation will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave Jackson, MI 49202) on Tuesday February 20, 2024 from 3-6 PM. A celebration of her life will be held at JaxNaz Church (3905 Clinton Rd, Jackson, MI 49201) on Wednesday February 21,2024 at 11:00 AM.
