Richard "Dick" Jack Talbot

Of Jackson, passed away on April 14, 2016. Dick was born in Ann Arbor, MI on January 10, 1933 to parents Jack and Alice Talbot. He married Nancy Susann (Surber) in Jackson, MI on January 10, 1955; they were married for 61 years. Dick was a painter by trade and worked for Painter’s Supplies for 33 years. Before marrying the love of his life, Nancy, he enlisted in the Air Force in 1950, serving our country for four years. Dick loved to be outdoors, hunting, and fishing; he joined the Grotto Club in 1960 enjoying a great drink or two. He loved making people laugh and always had a joke. Dick is survived by his wife, Nancy Talbot; children, Mike (Lisa) Talbot and Denise (Rick) Buhler; grandchildren, Matt (Lavone) Buhler, David (Aimee Segorski), Allison Talbot, and Zane Talbot; great grandchildren, Brook, Autumn, and Dylan; sisters, Barbara Palmer and Dorothy Miller. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Craig Talbot. Cremation has been chosen and a celebration of Dick’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 31, 2016 at Charles J. Burden & Son Funeral Home at 11:00 AM; Pastor Rod Walker officiating. Visitation from 10:00 AM until time of service.
