Of Jackson, Michigan passed away at his home, with his family by his side on Friday, April 30, 2021 at the age of 64. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Suzanne Bowser. He is survived by his four children, Kimberly (Paul) Teachout, Cheri Bowser, Rebecca (Thomas) Bowser, Amber (Buster) Slaby; grandchildren; Zack, Madison, Caroline, Cooper, Maxon; Great grandchild, Greyson; three siblings, Karen (Brian) Whitney, Tim (Lenore) Bowser, Suzan (Dan) Marcinkiewicz. He was born in Jackson to Roland Sr. and Lydia Bowser. He attended Jackson High school. Served in the United States Navy and retired from Legends Manufacturing after many years of service. He loved music and going to concerts. Loved riding Rollercoasters at Cedar Point with his hands up. Every 4th of July he would host an awesome display of fireworks and enjoyed sharing it with friends and family. He was a huge Michigan State fan and watched countless games with his girls. Christmas was his favorite holiday because he loved being with his family and grandchildren. He enjoyed motorcycle rides and skiing. He was a huge part of his daughter's lives and is missed already. A service to honor Roland's life will be held at Spring Arbor Church of the Nazarene (8200 King Road Spring Arbor, 49283) on Friday, May 7, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends one-hour prior for visitation.
