Roy C. Gundrum, Sr.

Of Jackson, passed away at his home on Monday, March 10, 2014 at the age of 73. He is survived by his loving wife of 53 years, Doris Gundrum; three children, Roy C. (Judie) Gundrum, Michael (Carlene) Gundrum and Roxanne M. (Steven) Zoss; six grandchildren, Mathew (Angie) Gundrum, Cody Gundrum, Sarah Gundrum, Jessica Beck, Roy C. Gundrum III and Darcie Brown; eight great grandchildren, Nevada Jo, Miles, Zoey, Heather, Savannah, Camron, Mitchell and Malachi; sister Nancy (Russ) Saumier as well as nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Roy was born in Jackson to Carl and Virginia (Lovell) Gundrum on September 23, 1940. He graduated from Jackson High School in 1958 and spent his working career as a printing press operator. He was co-owner of Larue Printing Co. and Creative Graphics. He was a member of The Eagles; was a hardworking family man and was always willing to help others when he was able to. He touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. According to his wishes, cremation services have been selected. The family will receive friends for a Memorial Visitation at the funeral home on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4:00PM until 6:00PM and followed by a Lodge of Sorrow Ceremony. Memorial contributions in his memory may be made to the Cascades Humane Society.
