Of Jackson, passed away at her home with family by her side, on Monday, October 6, 2014, at the age of 70. She will be remembered by her two children, Dean W. Suiter and Melissa J. (Brian) Martin; eight grandchildren; three great grandchildren; mother, Thelma Irwin as well as many loving family members and friends. Shirley was born in West Virginia on October 8, 1943. She graduated from Jackson High in 1961 and retired from Mac Steel after many years of service. She was a hardworking and loving family woman. She touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at Grace Church (2692 N. Dettman Rd., Jackson 49201) on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 11:00AM with Pastor Jerry Bailey officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions in her memory may be made to Grace Church or The Epilepsy Foundation.
