Tamara was like a mom to me. I never heard she had died until today, Sept. 29th. I must have talked with her last days before she died. I wondered why she was not returning my calls. I really would have liked to go to her memorial service.

Tamara was a dear friend. I met her at a flea market in Ohio and she brought me to the pageant. My greatest asset is the many beautiful friends I've met and will have for life. When i was losing my baby sister, i spent a week with Tamara, but had to leave early. Her words, as always were so encouraging to me
I will love you forever Tamara. "One life will soon be passed, only whats done for Christ will last. Barbie

I met Tamara in Las Vegas, through senior pageantry. She made me laugh, she gave great hugs, and made intelligent and insightful comments. She was adorable onstage, but I loved her for her calm, fair, kind, wise conversation. A very pretty face, but oh! so much more.
