

92, of Concord, passed away December 30 at Henry Ford Allegiance in Jackson, Michigan. He was born on May 6, 1933, in Jackson, to Joseph and Mary (Lewandowski) Sierminski. He married the love of his life, Karlene Chown, and she preceded him in death in 2017.
Teddy spent most of his life as a heavy equipment operator, beginning his career with Hungerford Construction, then Braun and Weider Construction. He worked at Miller Truck and Storage prior to retirement and was known for using a crane to put up the Christmas tree in downtown Jackson during his working years. He was a proud Korean War Army Veteran. He had a zest for life, enjoying going to the cabin in the UP, hunting, fishing, and restoring cars. Teddy loved to dance, sing, play his harmonica and entertain in his garage where family played “washers.” He loved his cowboy shows and watching the swans on the water. He is survived by daughters Dallas (Mike) Richardson of Munising, Pam (Ned Gottchalk) Russell of Concord, Jackie (Gerald) Bilaski of Newport, Washington, and Kristina Neville of Watkins, Colorado. He is also survived by sons Michael (April Green) Sierminski of Concord and Harvey “John” Dennis of Jackson. Also surviving are 24 grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren, 4 great-great-grandchildren, a daughter-in-law Sharon Sierminski, a sister Stacia Brooks, and a special sister-in-law, Gloria Sierminski.
Besides his wife and parents, Teddy was preceded in death by sons William and Theodore. He was also preceded in death by four brothers and five sisters. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of his life will follow at a later date.
