Thomas Jeffery Burke

Passed away on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the age of 52. He is survived by his wife, Kristie (Nguyen) Burke; daughters, Taylor, Madison and Mallory; mother, Donna Jean (Bodell) Burke; step-mother, Pamela (Glover) Burke; siblings, Gary Burke, Mike (Cathy) Burke, Carol Crocker, Christopher (Kim) Burke, Cheri (Mike) McCullough, Jeffery Thomas (Sandy) Burke and Nicolle (Mike) Barton; sisters-in-law, Ruthie Burke and Cindy Burke as well as many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews; loving family members and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gilbert L. Burke; brothers, Terry Burke and Patrick Burke. Tom was born in Jackson, Michigan on January 24, 1971 and graduated from Hudson High School in 1989. He spent his career in sales after he started his employment at Dolly Madison in Michigan Center. He was a sports enthusiast with an emphasis on the University of Michigan and a love hate relationship with the Detroit Lions. He loved to travel around the world with Kristie, visiting many exotic locations. A Prayer Service for Tom will be held at Burden & Patience-Montgomery Funeral Home (1806 E. Michigan Ave. Jackson, 49202) on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 A.M. The family will receive friends from 10:00 A.M. until the time of the service. In lieu of flowers, a Memorial Contribution in Tom's honor, to a charity of one's choice would be much appreciated.
