Of Jackson, passed away at the age of 81, on Thursday, April 24, 2014. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Claude “Buck” Cooper and brother, Harold Dull. She will be remembered by her children, Claude Cooper (Beth), Rhonda Rigelman (Clint), Carla Cole (David), Bruce Cooper and Brian (Lisa) Cooper; 24 grandchildren; 36 great grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; brothers, Floyd “Bud” (Pat) Dull and Larry (Barb) Dull; sister, Violet (Bill) Shaughnessy as well as numerous nieces, nephews, loving family members and friends. Val was born to Donald and Violet (Poling) Dull in Ann Arbor, MI on July 23, 1932. She graduated from Jonesville High School in 1950 and retired from Meijer after many years of service. She touched the hearts of many and will be greatly missed. A celebration of her life will be held at the funeral home on Tuesday, April 29, 2014 at 11:00AM. The family will receive friends for visitation on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8PM. She will be laid to rest next to her husband at Rice Creek Cemetery.
