Of Jackson, joined her husband, Lyle Alvin Weese, in Heaven on Tuesday, July 30, 2013 at the age of 89. She is survived by eight children, Carol LaFond, Thomas (Brenda) Weese, Edward (Debra) Weese, Lillian (William) Connelly, William (Susan) Weese, Katherine (Jeffery) Burdick, Emma Weese and Linda (Bob Moats) Fletcher; 35 grandchildren; 31 great grandchildren and one great-great grandson. She was preceded in death by a great grandson, Jeremiah Newman as well as her two brothers, Jonathan and William Hilts. Mrs. Weese was born to Richard and Virginia (Jenkins) Hilts in Jackson, where she has resided and raised her own family. After being a working woman during WWII, she assumed the role of proud homemaker and matriarch of her family. She was always willing to help others when able and touched the lives of many. According to her wishes, cremation has been selected and there will be a service honoring her life at the funeral home on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until the time of service. Interment will take place at Woodland Cemetery with her husband.
