

On October 15, 2015, heaven gained an angel full of life, love, determination and a sense of adventure. Christian Kiely Winicki was 35 years old; a husband, father, son, and friend to everyone. He fought an aggressive and rare form of stage 4 cancer for 2 ½ years and fought every day and every moment with a smile on his face and love in his heart.
Christian is a 1998 graduate of Bishop Kenny High School, a 2002 graduate of the University of Colorado at Boulder, a 2006 graduate of Florida Coastal School of Law, and will receive his Masters in Education from the University of Florida this December 2015. While at the University of Colorado, Christian played rugby, and while at Florida Coastal School of Law Christian was the Student Bar Association treasurer and a member of the Mock Trial team.
After law school, Christian practiced law at the State Attorney’s Office for the Seventh Judicial Circuit and then had his own law firm. In 2009, Christian was direct commissioned as an Officer in the United States Navy Reserves. At the time of his passing he was a Lieutenant in the United States Navy Reserves.
Christian is survived by his wife, Chelsea Russell Winicki, and their two children, Kiely Winicki (4 yrs) and Christian Jack Winicki, Jr. (3 months). He is also survived by his parents, Robert and Debbie Winicki.
