

Dolores Arlene Boss-Habgood, 73, passed away unexpectedly November 2, 2010. A longtime resident of Orange and West Orange, NJ and more recently Cheltenham, England, she moved to St. Johns County, FL in September and attended St. Francis-in-the-Field Episcopal Church. Dolores retired as the Assistant Vice-President of Midlantic Bank and was once the proprietor of the Magnolia House, a bed and breakfast in Long Beach Island, NJ. A dedicated volunteer, she gave her time to Mountainside Hospital in Montclair, NJ and made regular Apheresis donations to the Blood Center of New Jersey. While living there, Dolores was a member of All Saints’ Episcopal Church where she was an Acolyte, served on the Vestry and performed with the All Saints’ Players Theatre Group. During her time living abroad in Cheltenham, she and her husband, Fred, were members of the Studio Players Theatre Group and dedicated many volunteer hours to the Gloucestershire County Association for the Blind.
Dolores was preceded in death by her son, Stephen X. Boss in 1989 and is survived by her loving husband, Fred Habgood; sister, Elizabeth “Bette” Raimondi of West Orange, NJ; brother, Robert Pateman of Rockwall, TX; nieces and nephews, Lori LoParo, Valerie Alexander, David Pateman, Judy Raimondi, Tom Raimondi and their families; and her husband Fred’s three children, seven grandchildren, two great-granddaughters and one great-grandson.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00am on Monday, November 8, 2010 at St. Francis-in-the-Field Episcopal Church, 895 Palm Valley Road.
