Douglas “Boz” Mitchell Bozarth, 46, passed away May 12, 2012 peacefully in his home in Atlantic Beach. He was born on July 9, 1965 in Houston, TX. Boz was a ship repair diesel mechanic for Earl Ind for 15 years and also served in the US Navy for 7 years. His passion was fishing on his boat with friends and family, spending time at the beach, and enjoyed listening to Joel Osteen. He was well-loved and had many friends. Boz is survived by his loving wife Lynne Bozarth, his daughter Heather, step-son James, his mother Carolyn, sister Denise (her children Mary and David), brother David (his children Bradley and Jamie), aunt Elaine, sister-in-law Tina, brother-in-law Joe, and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his father and fishing buddy Howard David Bozarth. A celebration of his life will be held at 2pm on Saturday, May 19 at Hardage-Giddens Funeral Home, 1701 Beach Blvd. Jacksonville Beach.
