He was born in Orlando on 7/7/1946. He joined the army in 1963 and was awarded several medals including Rifle Marksman before leaving as a Sergeant.
He then pursued a career in the book bindery business where he met his bride, Sadie. They were married in 1972, had son Christopher in 1973 and were married 53 years enjoying family, fishing, hunting, telling stories and Duke.
He was survived by his wife, Sadie Coleman, son Christopher (Erika), grandson Frank, granddaughter, Grace Ceglia (Tristan), sisters Florence Marquardt (Charles) and Ardeth Rudebush (Richard).
A Celebration of Life service will be held on November 3, 2025, at Beaches Chapel by Hardage Giddens, located at 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL, 32250. The service will begin at 11:00 am.
A Graveside Service will follow on the same day at Jacksonville National Cemetery, located at 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL, 32218. This service will begin at 1:30 pm, and attendees are instructed to proceed to Lane # 3.
