It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Harry “Rick” Andress, aged 92, who departed this life peacefully on October 18th, 2025. He was a true gentleman and will be missed dearly.
Born on October 30th, 1932, in Shreve, Ohio. Harry “Rick” proudly served his country in the United States Navy, where he exemplified courage, dedication, and honor. His time in service shaped a life of integrity and commitment to others.
After his military service, Harry “Rick” built a life centered around family, community, and hard work. He was known for his kindness, wisdom, sense of humor, and he touched the lives of many through his lifetime.
Harry “Rick” was preceded in death by his beloved wife Nancy, and his parents Don and Frances Andress whose memories he cherished deeply.
A funeral service will be held on October 28th at 11:30am in Jacksonville National Cemetery, 4083 Lannie Road, Jacksonville, FL 32218, with military honors to commemorate his service.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to DAV Disabled American Veterans organization, in Harry “Rick’s” memory.
