James Douglas Teston of Ylee, Florida passed away on January 28, 2026, at the age of 80. He was born on July 4, 1945 in Jacksonville, Florida and attended and graduated from Andrew Jackson High School, Jacksonville, Fl. James Douglas served in the United States ARMY with almost all of his time served overseas.
He was married Eula Mae on April 27, 1968. James Douglas worked for many years as a Papermill Supervisor for St. Regis. He had a passion for coin collecting; loved to fish and also gardening.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Eula Mae Teston of Yulee, Fl.
Children: Wayne (Therese) Pope, Terry (Marsha) Pope, Inez (Robbie) Teston-Cowart and Eileen (Jeremy) Seger. Grandchildren: Kristen Witbeck, Lindsay Harris, Christy Willis, Ben Wilson, Lee Pope and Jessie Seger. Brother, Samuel Teston and Sister, Sharon Pullen. Special Caregivers: Marlo Morehead and Deidre Strag.
