

Jane was born in Philadelphia, PA 01/05/1936. Jane graduated from Haverford High School in 1954. Jane worked for the railroad, AT&T and eventually retiring from Lucent Technologies Jane was the baby of nine brothers and sisters. She was all about family and the importance of being together. Jane was a pillar of strength and kindness surpassed by none. She was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend and volunteer. Jane’s caring heart will carry on in the countless lives she touched as her love and kindness was contagious. She will be missed dearly but always with love in our hearts. Jane volunteered at Baptist Beaches Hospital, Mayo Clinic and St. Paul’s Catholic Church as well as supporting many charities.
Jane was preceded in death by her husband, Herbert Edwin Puttbach, and her son, Eric Matthew Puttbach. She is survived by her brother Al Higgins, her children, Robert Paul Puttbach, Edwin Charles Puttbach, Philip John Puttbach, Andrew David Puttbach and Dee Puttbach. She was a very proud grandparent to Michael Puttbach, Jason Owen Puttbach, Brandon Charles Puttbach, Justin Edward Fail, Andrew David Puttbach II, Shannon Nicole Fail, Alexis Victoria Puttbach, Joshua Eric Puttbach, Jonah Michael Puttbach, Breanna Ashley Bennett, Alyssa Lauren Puttbach, Kaylee Michelle Puttbach and Charlie Lightfoot Puttbach. Also, countless nieces and nephews and great grandchildren that she adored.
The Puttbach family would like to thank McGraw Community Hospice for their outstanding professionalism, caring and support during this time as well as all of her friends that reached out in so many kind and loving ways. A celebration of Life will held 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 27th at HARDAGE-GIDDENS FUNERAL HOME, 1701 Beach Blvd., Jacksonville Beach. The family asks that contributions are made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida, McGraw Center or the American Cancer Society.
