She leaves behind to cherish her memory, her son Mark (Carole) Green and grandson Parker. Sister Dorothy(Larry) Boon.
Janet was preceded in death by her loving parents, Gus and Alice
Leisegang and her son Anthony Green.
For years Janet worked for Prudential Insurance Company and
Independent Life Insurance; she managed Viscaya apartments and worked at Baymeadows Apartments. She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church at Jax Beach. Janet had a passion for dancing, she was a member of Florida Boppers, First Coast Shag Club and American Ballroom.
Visitation will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, US, on May 21, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
A Funeral Service will be held at Beaches Chapel by Hardage-Giddens, 1701 Beach Blvd, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250, US, on May 22, 2026, from 10:00 AM with Rev. Nathan McCarty officiating. Burial will follow in H. Warren Smith Cemetery.
