

He graduated from Canon-McMillan High School in 1966. Kevin joined the United States Navy in 1968 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He then became a member of the Jacksonville Plumbing and Pipefitters Union, Local 234 for 50+ years and worked with W.W. Gay Company as a Journeyman Plumber for 42 years, retiring in 2019.
Kevin enjoyed his daily walks, reading, and volunteering at the Pablo Creek Regional Library for several years.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Wallace Dale Munnell and Mother Lavera Valgene (Young) Munnell.
He is survived by his wife Connie S. Munnell; brother Kent (Carol) Munnell, sister Candy (Ralph) Messner, daughter Karin Munnell (Albert Charbine); son Todd (Stacy) Munnell; stepson Joseph(Kimberly)Bruce; stepdaughter Melissa (Scott) Tillery; and 11 grandchildren including Kaili McGuire; Clay and Cody Bruce; Hannah, Morgan, and Jacob Tillery; great grandson Ace; and multiple nieces and nephews in Pennsylvania.
The family would like to thank Dr. Daniel Kobrinski and staff of Cancer Specialists of North Florida, Dr. Dinesh Jayadevappa; and Community Hospice for the care and compassion they showed Kevin and his family in his final days.
