Leo Paul Kunkel closed his eyes for the last time February 18. He was 91 and just getting weary. He will be sorely missed by his wife Charlotte and guardian angel Chloe and his only surviving sibling Lois. He also leaves behind three stepchildren, Sharron, Michael (Kay) and Bonne, seven grandchildren, Peggy (Sean), Terry, Butch and Missy (George), Crystal, Justin and Jeffrey (Kelsi), seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews. He loved life and lived it to the fullest and was thankful for each day.
A Memorial Service will be held on March 14th at 11 a.m. at Hardage Giddens Beaches Chapel Funeral Home (904)249-2374 located 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. A very special thank you to Dr. Fern and his staff for the wonderful care they gave Leo.
