Ms. Baltaciyeff was born September 17, 1934 in Bayamon, Puerto Rico. She moved to New York City in the early 1950’s and to Jacksonville in 1977.
She worked for 10 years as a toddler teacher at The Chappelle School at South Campus where she touched many young lives. She was an avid reader and enjoyed sharing this passion with her students. She will be missed greatly by her family, friends, former students, and all who knew her.
Ms. Baltaciyeff is survived by her daughters Deborah Chapman and Joann Kearley, son-in-laws Robert Chapman and Irwin Silverman and four grandsons, David, Jason, Fred, and James.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 21st at 2 P.M. at the Hardage-Giddens Beaches Chapel, 1701 Beach Boulevard, Jacksonville Beach, FL 32250. Personal condolences may be shared at www.hardage-giddensbeacheschapel.com.
