Robert Burke

Robert Burke(86) of Jacksonville, Fl. has left to be with his lord and savior this day August 18, 2014. He lived most of his life in Woodbridge NJ after retiring from Wakefern Foods he moved to Dunnellon, Fl. . Robert was past president of Raritan Valley chapter of the RSES and taught their apprenticeship program. He served on the New Jersey Board of Vocational Education. He was also past president of the Central Jersey Stock Outboard Racing Association of which he and his family enjoyed many years of competitive boat racing.

He is survived by his lovely bride of sixty five years Tressa Burke of Jacksonville, Fl. his sons Robert E. Burke of Jacksonville, Fl. and Daniel Burke (Tammy) of Orange Park, Fl., two daughters Kathleen Burke of Jacksonville, Fl. and Marjorie Burke-Sterling (Jonathan) of Woodbridge, NJ. He was predeceased by his daughters Eileen Burke-Kaczmarek(Walter) and Megan Burke of Woodbridge, NJ and a sister Shirley May of Okeechobee, Fl. He is also survived by his brother Maurice Burke of Saddle River, NJ. and two sisters Doris Arents of Pennington, NJ and Joan Rosemund of Woodstock, Ga. eight grandchildren and fourteen great grandchildren.
