Alice Ruth Cothern of Jacksonville, Florida passed away Thursday, July 3, 2014 at home. She was a member of Trinity Baptist Church. She was a former member of North View Baptist. She worked for Vistakon for 30 years. She is survived by her three children Jerry Nelson, Donna Hunter and Tony Copeland, two sisters Camilla Frazier and Lillie Fowler; 7 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren who will miss her dearly. She is further survived by many friends. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Tuesday, July 8, 2014 and Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 am, Wednesday July 9, 2014 at Hardage Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. Jacksonville, FL 32205 (904) 781-9262.
