

Alora Eichermuller, 92, passed away Wednesday, February 26, 2014 in Rincon, GA. She was born July 23, 1921 to Marcus and Margaret Cowan in El Paso, TX. The family moved to Houston, TX when she was eight years old. She attended schools in Houston in which she graduated from Texas State Teachers College in Huntsville, TX with a degree in Library Science. She eventually moved to Jacksonville in 1976. She loved to sew, paint and loved flowers of all kinds. She was loyal to her church and was also a world traveler in which she traveled to Alaska and France. She married George Eichermuller in 2010 at the age of 89 and moved to Rincon, GA in 2012. Alora is preceded in death by her parents Marcus and Margaret and one son Deputy DeWayne Crenshaw. She is survived by her husband of three years George of Rincon, GA, two daughters Lyllian Crenshaw and Christine Hunter. One sister Viola Allen of Bryceville, FL, six grandchildren, Tammy (Mike) Flynn, Sandy Crenshaw, Stephan (Lindsay) Crenshaw, Helene Crenshaw, Adam (Cristalle) Crenshaw and Heather Avery, 15 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Arrangements under the care of Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 from 12:00-1:00pm in the chapel. Funeral services to be held at 1:00pm following the visitation. Interment will be at Riverside Memorial Park following funeral services.
