Amy loved her family including her extended family and friends. She was passionate about her pets, especially her current registered service animal, her cat Callie. She was very social and enjoyed being with other people. Her health issues restricted her activities, but she loved to travel and to go camping. She had a goal of camping in all of Florida's state parks.
Amy has surviving family: her husband Kevin Blount, daughter Rachael Taylor, son-in-law Jimmy Taylor, and her beloved grandsons Colton, Mason, and Hudson. She is also survived by her father Anthony Sablan, and several sisters including Donna Schiffer and Mary Bernich.
Amy will have a graveside service at Hardage and Giddens, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
A memorial service will immediately follow the graveside service at the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 5100 Firestone Rd. Jacksonville, FL 32210.
