

She was accompanied at hospice with her family and friends. She left this world with her husband of sixty-one years, Ronald Leclaire, by her side.
Audrey was born on February 27, 1945, in Milford, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of the late Burton and Doris Creighton. She graduated from Whitinsville High School in Whitinsville, Massachusetts. She was a member of many drum corps which she participated in with her parents and sister.
She entered the workforce as a paraprofessional at Cedar Hills Elementary. During that time, she was a Brownie Scout leader. She loved working with children, and they loved her. As her children grew older, she worked as a library assistant at FJC now Florida State College at Jacksonville. She returned to school to be a medical assistant. She made straight A's and was highly recruited in the industry. The most special role was being a Grammy and Great Grammy (GiGi).
Her love for God was apparent throughout her life. She was a devoted Christian, wife, mother, daughter, sister, sister-in-law, cousin, and friend.
When Audrey was not caring for others, she spent her time sewing, bowling at Cassat Lanes, playing a guitar, making and flying remote control planes with the Gateway Radio Control Club, gardening, and in the last twenty-five years playing the dulcimer. Her favorite one was the one she handmade.
Along with her husband, Ronald Leclaire, she is survived by her dog, Rusty; two daughters, Pamela Phelps (Bill), Christine Young (Mark); Eight grandchildren; Harris Phelps, Nicholas Phelps (Tracey), Thomas Phelps (Ginger), Mark Young, Jr., Brooke Young, Chad Phelps, Austin Young and Abby Young. Seven great grandchildren; Autumn Phelps, Titus Phelps, Summer Phelps, Elliot Young, Walker McGee, Harper and Harrison Phelps; many family members and friends.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Janice Creighton Tonelli; and two lifetime friends Lila Laughinghouse and Jenny Pulak
Service will be held at 1:30pm on February 22, 2025, at New Life Baptist Church, 6680 Seaboard Avenue, Jacksonville, Florida 32244. Visitation will precede the service between 12:30pm and 1:20pm also at the church.
Following the service, a committal service will occur at 3pm at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
