

A memorial service is scheduled on December 19, 2020, Saturday 3:00 pm at Christ Cares Alliance Church in Jacksonville, Florida. A full military honors burial is scheduled on December 14, 2020, Monday at 10:30 am at Jacksonville National Cemetery.
He was born on December 30, 1946, in San Carlos City, Pangasinan, Philippines to late Dr.Victoriano and Esperanza Rosario. He attended San Carlos College, in the Philippines, where he met the love of his life Ms. Justina Barrozo and married on December 10, 1969. In 1968, he was selected to enlist in the United States Navy out of Subic Bay, Philippines. He attended Recruit Training Command, San Diego, California with honors and distinction. He completed an honorable 20 year naval service and retired in 1987. In 1989, he worked for the United States Postal Service and retired after 22 years, finally residing in Jacksonville, Florida.
He enjoyed telling many Navy sea stories to his children, grandchildren, brothers, sisters, relatives and friends. He was an avid golf player, playing every chance he got while also teaching his grandchildren about the game. He also loved watching boxing, basketball and football. He was an active member at his church as part of the choir and attended weekly bible study. He was loved by all who knew him, because of the love and kindness he gave for all.
Bernabe M. Rosario is survived by his wife of 51 years, Justina B. Rosario, children; Joshua, Bernabe, Jason, Jenny and Justin, and their spouses; Vivienne Rosario, Lyn Rosario, Ashley Rosario, Nikki Rosario and 7 grandchildren; Jared, Valerie, Elina, Elisabeth, TJ, Tristan, and Natalie Rosario.
