Carl was born to Troy and Marjorie Taylor on September 3, 1952 in Jacksonville where he also attended high school. He also went to school to become a carpenter and founded CW Taylor Construction Co. He married Terry Denise (Sauls) Taylor on June 19, 1976 and was happily married for 45 years. He had a passion for football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs and Jacksonville Jaguars, loved watching NASCAR races, fishing, waterskiing, hydro sliding, snow skiing and playing baseball with kids.
Carl is survived by mother Marjorie Taylor; spouse Denise Taylor; son Christopher Taylor and wife Kristen Taylor; son Justin Taylor; brother Gary Taylor and one grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his father Troy Taylor.
A visitation for Carl will be held Tuesday, March 22, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will be on Wednesday, March 23, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, Jacksonville, Florida 32205.
