Caroline Pourciau Narramore passed away on January 23, 2026, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was born on January 6, 1960, in Savannah, Georgia, and was the seventh child of Charles L. Pourciau and Catherine B. Pourciau. She moved to Jacksonville as a little girl and later met her husband, James “Randy” Narramore, whom she married on April 12, 1986. They had one daughter, Virginia B. Narramore, and built their life on Riverside. She loved adventures, merriment, weekends at the beach, and was an avid concert goer.
Caroline was a devout Catholic and long-time member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church-Riverside, as well as a loving and generous daughter, wife, sister, aunt, and mother. She possessed a natural perceptiveness and friendly smile and never met a stranger. Firm in her beliefs and disciplines with resilience in the face of difficulty, she was a natural problem solver who loved to help those around her, readily offering solutions, advice, and thoughtful gestures. This served her well in her 25+ years in HR-Benefits at St. Vincent’s (Ascension), helping countless associates in her tenure.
Preceded in death by her parents, sisters Lucy and Blanche, and brother Gene, Caroline is survived by her husband and daughter, brothers Charles (Beth) and Joseph (Viki), and sister Margaret (George), as well as her large extended family.
The family welcomes all to attend a funeral mass officiated by Fr. Leonard Chuwa at St. Paul’s Riverside, 2609 Park St., Jacksonville, FL 32204 on Friday, February 13—a good luck charm in our family—at 11 a.m. with a reception to follow. For those who would like, there will be a rosary service and visitation beginning at 10 a.m. A private family burial will be scheduled later.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to St. Paul’s Catholic Church-Riverside in Caroline’s memory.
