Charles Brigham Adams, Sr. 80, passed away peacefully on June 22, 2015. He was born in Lyons, GA. He graduated from Lee High School and UNF. Charles served honorably in the US Navy and Army. He worked for Southern Railroad and retired from the DCPS Transportation System. He is preceded in death by his parents George and Leitha Adams; his son Michael Adams and nephew George Carr. He is survived by his wife of 56 years – Marsha; sons Charles Jr. (Tracey); Randy (Lorraine); daughter in-law Darlene; sister Loretta Carr; nephews Kelly and Tommy; grandchildren Amanda, Ashley (Marcus); Emalee, Charles III; great grandchildren Morgan, Bailey and Erin. The family will receive friends and loved ones for a visitation on Monday, June 29 at 10:00 am. The funeral service will be conducted on Monday, June 29 at 11:00 am with the interment immediately following at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park. Pastor Harold Hudson is officiating.
