He was a hard working simple man beloved by his family and his many friends. His humor and laughter brought joy to many. To have known him was to love him.
He is survived by his wife, Brenda (BJ) of over fifty years and daughter Dana (John), and grandson Charlie.
He was Papa to Katie, Brendan, Emily, and Luke, and Uncle Tar to many nieces and nephews.
One of his greatest joys was cooking and grilling for his church, family, and friends.
The memorial service will be held at The River Church, 1820 Monument Rd, Jacksonville, FL 32225 at 4:00 PM on Sunday November 1st, 2015; James Ward will be officiating.
