Claire Edith Anne Tourville Roberts, 82, of Jacksonville passed away Sunday, July 10, 2016. Born in Haverhill, MA in 1934, she was a daughter of the late Albert Tourville and Vera Woolley. Claire came to Jacksonville in 1954 and left in 1995 to spend several years in Largo, returning to Jacksonville in 2007.
Surviving are her children, Charles Roberts, Jr., Elizabeth Lindsey, Brenda Young and Michelle Raigosa; sister, Lorrain Chaput; brother, Richard Tourville; 18 grandchildren; 32 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her sons, Michael Alan Roberts and John Christopher Roberts; and her granddaughter, Kristina Marie Roberts.
She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2:00pm at Hardage-Giddens, Chapel Hills Funeral Home with the Rev. Tom Bary officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
