Cora Mae Kimball

Born on January 26th, 1950, she was the daughter of the late William and Gladys Keller, raised by the late Tom and Ethel Keller. Corky was always proud to tell anyone and everyone about her working years, where she worked for the government while living in DC. During her non-working years, you could always find her diligently working on something in the yard, whether that be gardening, decorating, or mowing her lawn. Corky LOVED to be outside and mowing her grass and hopping in the pool after was always her favorite activity. Aside from yard work, you could find her bowling, playing bingo, shopping, or going yard-saling with some of her favorite people.

Corky was preceded in death by her late husband, Phillip Kimball; two sisters, Carol Watkins and Jacklin Kiss; eight brothers, James Keller, William Keller, Joseph Keller, Earnest Keller, Ernie Keller, Franklin Keller, Danny Keller, and Rufus Keller; and stepdaughter, Andrea Parham.

Survivors include her children, daughter, Donna Denton of North Carolina, stepsons, Allen Kimball (Carol) of Alabama, and Gary Kimball of Jacksonville, Fl, and Riley (Ka’tlin) Brown of Jacksonville, Fl, who she also claimed as her own; grandchildren Kaylee (Robert) and Kara James of North Carolina, Riley Kimball of Alabama, Mariekuh (Kyle), Easton, and Nolan Sistrunk of Jacksonville, Fl. Maechelle Kimball (Dean), Maleena, and Damien of Jacksonville, Fl. Christine Kimball (Gabby) of Jacksonville, Fl, Christopher and Dwayne Kimball of Florida, and Dekan, Shelton, Kayden, and Angel Brown of Jacksonville, Fl; Niece Kelley (Daniel) Dey of Jacksonville, Fl; Siblings Alfred (Goldie) Keller, Aubrey Keller, Lacy Keller, John (Sherry) Keller, Dianna (Eric) Baker, Verta Newman (Bobby) all of West Virginia, Sue Grossi of North Carolina; and many other nieces and nephews who she loved very dearly.

A visitation for Cora will be held Friday, August 2, 2024 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Friday, August 2, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Friday, August 2, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
