Cynthia Marie Ferrone

She was a graduate of James Monroe High School in 1974 and received her B.S from Long Island University in 1984. In 1988, Cynthia began her professional journey as a Medical professional for the New York Hospital System as (St.Lukes Brookdale Hospital) but later traveled to Germany and became a civilian worker for the US Army from 1990-1996.

In 1998 she would later return to the U.S and relocated to Kentucky working as a Production assistant for Nielson Media Research she moved one last time to Jacksonville, Fl, and became a licensed Real Estate Agent and was an active member of (NAR) National Association of Realtors and NEFAR (Northeast Florida association of realtors) for the next 21 years.

Cynthia was a long-standing member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church of Jacksonville, FL and was an official lector on several occasions. She attended Adoration every Friday and church mass every Saturday until illness no longer let her. She also volunteered at St Vincent de Paul catholic church in Wildwood, Fl .

Cynthia’s talents and accomplishments were many but above all she was beloved wife mother sister aunt neighbor and friend who loved to entertain and help others She enjoyed travelling across the world and had a great sense of adventure.

Preceded in death by her grandparents William Clarence Ramseur, Lottie Wilfong Ramseur her parents Vernon Propst, Ether Mae Hawkins.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years Robert J Ferrone (Jacksonville)

Daughter Darnella Houtman and her husband Daniel Houtman Sisters Vanessa (Jeffrey) Crowder(Gastonia, NC), Charlene (Robert) Jenkins (Hickory, NC) Aunt Jessie Thomas (Brooklyn, NY) and a host of Nieces nephews’ cousins friends and neighbors and 2 beloved dogs Zoey and Tut.

Visitation will be held at Hardage -Giddens funeral home 7242 Normandy Blvd Jacksonville, FL on December 17th at 5pm

Funeral Services will be held at Sacred Heart Catholic Church 5752 Blanding Blvd Jacksonville FL on December 18th at 11:00 am by Father James Kaniparampil.

With repast following mass services in the church family center.
