Donald Oliver Kreitzman

Donald was born on March 13, 1928 in Indianapolis, IN to Daniel Oliver Kreitzman and Mable Buckley Kreitzman. He graduated from Trine University, Angola, IN with an M.S. in Civil Engineering.

On October 10, 1953 Donald married Julia Ruth Spindler and welcomed four children: Elizabeth, Daniel, David and Donald.

Donald retired from CSX as a 25 year veteran civil engineer. An active member of the North Florida Council of Boy Scouts USA for over 50 years; he enjoyed woodworking, crafts, fishing, hunting and golf-ball chasing. He was a member of the Elks Club, the Masons, Power Squadron and The Wesconnet United Methodist Church in Jacksonville, FL.

He is preceded by his wife Julia and his son Donald. Survived by children; Elizabeth Jameson of Fernandina Beach, FL, Daniel Kreitzman of Jacksonville, FL and David Kreitzman of Lawtey, FL; ten grandchildren and ten great grandchildren,and Brother Joseph Kreitzman of Green Valley, AZ,

A visitation for Donald will be held Monday, November 11, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Monday, November 11, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A committal service will occur Monday, November 11, 2024 from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
