James (Doug) Johnston, 63, passed away on December 11, 2018 in Jacksonville, Florida. He was preceded in death by his father, James Clifford Johnston. He was born October 4, 1955 in Wichita, Kansas. He leaves to mourn his mother Delories Miller (Gerald) of Quapaw, OK, his wife Cathy of 34 years, daughters Kim (Chris) Sellers of Jacksonville, FL and Stephanie (Mark) Holland of Midland, TX, his son Dwight Johnston of Jacksonville, FL and three grandsons, Landon, Cayden, and Colton Sellers, his brother Ken Johnston of Tulsa, OK, and two sisters Joyce Clouse of Tulsa, OK and Kathy (Bob) Wachman of Montgomery, AL, a niece, mother-in-law and numerous nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Doug served in the U.S. Army and held memberships with American Legion, NRA and Disabled Veterans of America. He was an avid Nascar, Gator, and Jaguar fan. Doug and Cathy were 20-year season ticket holders to the Jaguar games. He bowled for over 35 years participating on leagues in Oklahoma and Jacksonville, Florida.
