Mrs. Drena is the person who had the greatest impact on my life as a Christian woman. I honestly can’t imagine where I would be had God not placed her in my life. She was an amazing example for me as a young wife and mom when I met her many years ago. I am so thankful for the Godly example she was to my three daughters as well. She was beautiful in every sense of the word—kind, gracious, honest, funny, and endlessly giving. Her spirit of hospitality made everyone feel seen and loved. She made everyone feel like her closest friend, and made every conversation meaningful. She didn’t just live out Proverbs 31; she reflected it in the way she loved, served, and cared for others. I am forever grateful for the ways that she held up our Preacher’s hands and enabled him to preach and pastor the way that she did. I am going to miss her so much, but I am so thankful that I will see her again.

What a day that will be…..❤️

It literally feels as if the universe has shifted since Mrs.Drena left this earth. There was something uniquely different about her . She made this world a better place...especially in the lives of all who had the privilege of crossing paths with her. She never met a stranger and had an innate way of making us all feel so special. Never, in almost 40 years, have I ever heard say an ill word about anyone or too anyone. She was remarkable.. even in adversity.  She so diligently trail blazed and quietly organized years ahead for our church,  sunday school department, and VBS in the unfortunate event she would  have to leave us one day. We all looked to her for guidance and leadership. Its an empty feeling knowing we wont see her buzzing around the building "doing" for the Lord. She fought a hard battle and kept a smile on her face with patience and  grace. She was my greatest mentor.. the most unbelievable example of a Christian wife hands down. She taught us all so much and I will ever be so grateful for her friendship, guidance, counsel, leadership and faithfulness to Our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I will miss her deeply as I recall  and rely on many things she taught me as a young Mom and wife on into my older years . She was always there for me... just a call away and she always MADE time to help me in any way I needed...I know she is only "over there.. "beyond the sunset", and I will see her again, but until then, the world is a little less bright and Preacher so sadly said, "our GPS is gone.." She finished very well...Lord be with us as we navigate this tremendous earthly loss..  We know you do ALL things well... Mark 7:37 KJV

Dear Pastor Peacock,

We are deeply saddened to hear of your wife’s passing. Knowing how dearly you loved her, we can imagine how hard these days must be.  We’re praying that the Lord will uphold you through this difficult time.

You have spent so many years serving and strengthening others. Our hope is that you now feel that same care and support surrounding you — from your church family, your friends, and from all of us who are grateful for your life and example.

May Christ’s comfort and His promise of resurrection give you peace and steady your heart in the days ahead.

My prayers have been with you from Texas and will continue. Although I never met Drena, I know she must have been an incredible and godly woman. You will never know how much the sermons you have preached through your tribulation have ministered to me. When you preached about how God was teaching you in your pain, He used that to teach me and encourage me also. What a beautiful blessing Drena was. I wish I could have known her.  May God comfort you and your beautiful family and refresh you after this season of sadness.

So very sorry for the loss.  Drena was so special to our family before and after she and David married.  She was leadership in our Singles Department in the 70’s.  She was greatly loved by all of us!  Heaven is even sweeter now!  Love to David and Michelle.  Love you, Pat Stapp

We never met Mrs. Peacock, but we have been praying for her for quite some time. We watch Pastor Peacock on YouTube and feel like even though we don’t attend Bible Believers Baptist Church, we are in the Body of Christ together. 
We rejoice that she is now with our Saviour Jesus and know her journey here is complete. We will continue to be in prayer for peace and comfort for Pastor Peacock and your family. We know the coming days and weeks will be hard, but we know that with Christ, all things are possible.

Dearest ones, I met Drena in Junior High and we remained friends even after High School. She was so precious to me, but then I moved away and we lost track of each other. I saw her once years later in Steinmart. I recognized her right away, as she was still my lovely Drena.♥️ 
She shared how happily married she was and that the Lord had truly blessed her. I said the same to her. We hugged each other, and that was the last time we saw each other. 
My heart goes out to Drena’s husband, daughter Michelle, and all her grandchildren. May the Lord give you comfort and peace. Drena has graduated to her Heavenly home, and one day we shall see her again!
