Earl Boone

Earl Everett Boone was born May 11, 1929, in Little Rock, Arkansas, to Everett Darbandt Boone and Ira Jean (Raines) Boone, who preceded him in death, and a sister, Hazel Sullivan, of Shirley, Arkansas. Earl was married to Mary Lee (Lewis) Boone, who also preceded him in death, on July 15, 2008. Earl and Mary had two sons, Daniel Earl Boone (Stephanie), of Salt Lake, Utah and Jimmie Glyn Boone (Kathryn), of Jacksonville, Fl., and five granchildren, April, Emily and Danica, all of Salt Lake City, Utah, and Joshua and Kathryn "Kate" Boone, of Jacksonville.

He was a veteran of three wars: WWII, Korea and Vietnam. He was also a freemason, member of Soloman Lodge No. 20 F & AM and a member of the Order of the Eastern Star in the Duval Chapter, both of Jacksonville, Anchor Lodge No. 182, in Key West, FL.

A memorial service will be held Wednesday, February23, 2011, at 6:30 PM, in the Lynnwood Christian Church, 5200 Wesconnett Blvd. In lieu of flowers, it was Earl's wish that donations be made to the Lynnwood Christian Church, P.O.
