

Eddie Lee Bullard, 64, passed away January 25, 2020. He was determined to fight hard, over the past 21 years, to overcome multiple medical conditions. He was born in Jacksonville, Florida. He worked for Norfolk Southern Railroad, owned his own business, and then worked at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida for 10 years before retiring, due to illness. Above all, he loved Jesus and he loved his family. Over the years he loved to sing, play cork ball and softball, go fishing, go to the Blue Ridge mountains, and play a lot of golf.
He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Gladys Bullard, two children, Stacey Ross (her husband Shaun), Autumn Bullard (her boyfriend Travis), and one grandchild, Caitlynn Ross. His parents were Elzie and Mary Bullard. He has one sister, JoAnn (Jerry), and three brothers, James (Dixie), Freddie, and Travis (Pam). He has six nephews, Ken, John, Chad, Rodney, Brad, and Brandon, and three nieces, Charlean, Annette, and Amanda, and a host of other family members and many friends.
Eddie Bullard's family will be receiving friends on Friday January 31st from 1:30 to 2:30 pm at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park and Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd. His celebration of life will start immediately after at 2:30 pm. A committal will follow at Riverside Memorial Park after his celebration of life. All family and friends are welcome.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to First Baptist Church of Jacksonville, where he and Gladys have been members for 36 years. He would want to thank Brooks Rehab for helping him gain much of his life back after his stroke in 1998.
