Christy was born on April 10, 1942, in Jacksonville, Florida to Ernest and Lena Kinsey. Christy was an active member of Westside Baptist Church in Jacksonville, Florida. She had a real passion for volunteering and helping people that was only eclipsed by her passion for her family.
Christy is survived by her loving husband, James “Jim” R. Donovan, Jr., son; Christopher D. Donovan; son, James E. Donovan; daughter, Kathijo Owen; 5 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 granddoggies.
Viewing will be on Tuesday, March 31st from 5 to 7 pm at Riverside Memorial Cemetery, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, Florida. The funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 1st at 12:15 at Westside Baptist Church off Herlong Road; followed by graveside service at 1:15 at Riverside Cemetery; and then a celebration of life back at the church at 2:15.
