Evelyn Reeves Lattuga

Evelyn Reeves Lattuga, 77, was a Jacksonville native and finished her journey here on Earth and went to be with the Lord on the morning of September 26, 2018, after losing a courageous battle with liver cancer.

Evelyn had a contagious smile and enjoyed life, especially spending time with her family, H2O group, and SonShine Sisters. She was a beautiful person full of compassion and love for the Lord, always telling everyone she encountered to have a blessed day, and that she loved them no matter what kind of day she was having or how she was feeling.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband Joseph Lattuga. Her beautiful life will forever be cherished in the lives of her two children, Susan Higginbotham (Tommy) and John David Lloyd (Linda); seven grandchildren; one great grandchild; furbaby Colby; and many loving family and friends that will miss her dearly. A special heartfelt thank you is extended to Susan and David Edwards for providing a safe and loving home for her.

A celebration of life service will be held Friday, October 5, 2018 at 11:00 a.m at Dunn's Creek Baptist Church, 1425 Starratt Road , Jacksonville, Florida. Visitation will begin at 10:00am.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggest making a donation to Community Hospice in her honor.

HARDAGE-GIDDENS RIVERSIDE MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, 7242 Normandy Boulevard, is serving the family.
