

Evelyn “Evie” Pankok passed away on September 9, 2024. She was born on March 21, 1935 in Salem, New Jersey and moved to Jacksonville, Florida in 1960 with her husband, John, who passed away in 2008. Evie was a member of St. Paul’s Catholic Church, Riverside, a Master Gardner with UF Extension Office Florida Yards and Neighborhoods, where she led educational programs on gardening, recycling and horticulture. She was also a Master Food Volunteer, a stockbroker, insurance agent and public speaker, along with being a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Mrs. Pankok is survived by her daughter, Evelyn “Lyn” Jagers (Randy); son, Sean B. Pankok; brother, John MaGee (Pat); grandchildren, Mary Lyon, Andrew Lyon, Spenser Lyon and Eric Lyon; 11 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
A visitation for Evelyn will be held Monday, September 16, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Hardage-Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205. A funeral service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at St. Paul Catholic Church & School Riverside, 2609 Park St, Jacksonville, FL 32204. A committal service will occur Tuesday, September 17, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at Hardage- Giddens, Riverside Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd, Jacksonville, FL 32205.
