Frances was born in Jacksonville, Florida, in 1945. Frances lived in Jacksonville her entire life with the exception of two years in Vidalia, Georgia, in the mid-1970’s. Frances graduated from Ribault Senior High School in 1962. Frances worked in the title insurance industry for many years, lastly with Commonwealth Land Title. Frances and her deceased husband, Tom, then owned a thrift store and a commercial cleaning business. Frances continued with the cleaning business after Tom’s passing in 2006.
Frances loved spending time with her family, friends, reading and volunteering at her church, Highlands Baptist Church. Her church family provided many friends and support to her over the years. Frances was just fun to be around.
Frances is preceded in death by her father, Seabert Gordon Davis, Sr., her mother, Agnes (Tracy) Davis, her husband, Thomas H McKinley and her step son Mark McKinley. She is survived by her daughter, Charmayne Tyson Nichols (Scott), her sister, Ann Roche (Jim), her brother, Gordon Davis (Nan), her step-son, Scott McKinley, step-daughter, Suzanne Ramsey (Bryant), grandson, Justin Feiock and many nieces and nephews.
Frances’s visitation will be at 11:30 AM followed by memorial service at 12:00 PM and reception on Friday, July 25, 2025, at Highlands Baptist Church, 2159 Broward Road, Jacksonville, FL. There will be no graveside service. Frances's cremains will be laid to rest alongside her beloved husband Thomas H McKinley at Hardage-Giddens Riverside Memorial Park.
