Frank A Edwards III

Frank A. Edwards III, (73) of Jacksonville, Florida joined his son, Bryan in Heaven on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 after an extended illness. He was a member of First Baptist Church Callahan. He retired from Fruit Growers Express after 37 years. He is predeceased by his father, Frank Edwards Jr., brother Bruce Edwards and son Bryan Edwards. He is survived by his wife Lynda Edwards of 50 years, his mother Vera Edwards, son Matt (Rebecca) Edwards, daughter Caryn (Tino) Fyfe, brothers David (Linda) Edwards and Mark (Judy) Edwards, grandchildren Dillyn, Caitlyn, Chloe, Mason, Cody, Ty, and Autumn. Frank served in the Army National Guard from 1963 to 1969. He loved serving the Lord, coaching little league baseball, Gator football, traveling and spending time with his family and friends. A celebration of Frank’s life will be held Saturday, May 31 at 11:00am at First Baptist Church Callahan, 45090 Green Ave. Interment will follow at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday, May 30, at First Baptist Church Callahan. Memorial contributions may be made to Community Hospice of Northeast Florida (communityhospice.com).
