He is predeceased by his wife of 45 years, Helen E. Howard, his parents Mr. Argie & Mrs. Hazel Howard, his brother Bill Howard, his brother Paul Howard, his daughter Sandra Anderson, and his son Gary W. Nolan, Sr.
Beau had an ongoing diverse working career employed with U-Haul working with the company in continuance for over 34 years. Beau loved to spend time with his family and was a great inspiration to all who knew him. He was an active member of Murray Hill Baptist Church. Beau was an expert in rock identification with a comprehensive collection of sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks.
Beau is survived by his sisters Pauline Hanson (Bud) and Darla German (Jean), his children Lester Nolan, Marsha Butler (Mitchell), and Matthew Nolan. He also leaves to cherish his memory 9 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren.
A visitation will be held from 5-7pm Friday, February 12, 016 at Hardage-Giddens Town & Country Funeral Home, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205. A graveside service will be officiated by Rev. Doug Axtell held at 11am on Saturday, February 13, 2016 at Riverside Memorial Park, 7242 Normandy Blvd., Jacksonville, FL 32205.
